Operational Scope

The business system behind the workshop

Jonix Garage is responsible for workshop administration and service operations. It is separate from Jonix Trace, which handles diagnostics and tuning work with the vehicle itself.

Bookings and scheduling

Manage customer requests, appointment availability, service types, rescheduling, and workshop capacity from one operational calendar.

Customers and vehicles

Keep customer information, vehicles, ownership context, documents, notes, and service history connected.

Work orders and job cards

Turn bookings into structured jobs with reported symptoms, assigned work, technician notes, parts, labour, and status tracking.

Workshop workflow

Follow each vehicle from intake and inspection through approval, repair, quality control, completion, and handover.

Commercial operations

Support estimates, customer approvals, parts and labour records, invoicing, payment status, and business reporting.

Customer communication

Provide clear updates, requests for approval, appointment reminders, and a consistent record of workshop communication.

Connected, but separate

Workshop operations can hand technical work to Jonix Trace

Jonix Garage and Jonix Trace are independent software products with different responsibilities. A connected workflow can open the correct vehicle and work order in Jonix Trace, communicate through Jonix VCI, include JVR runtime context where available, then return diagnostic or tuning results to the workshop record.

Jonix Garage sends context

Vehicle identity, work order, symptoms, customer approval, and relevant service history.

Jonix Trace performs technical work

Diagnostic scans, live-data logging, tests, coding, adaptations, or tuning workflows through compatible hardware.

Jonix VCI connects the vehicle

A trusted interface can provide OBD, CAN, and supported manufacturer communication.

JVR contributes runtime context

Equipped vehicles can expose installed-system state, telemetry, configuration, and runtime diagnostics.

Jonix Trace returns results

Reports, fault codes, measurements, actions performed, files, and technician notes.

Jonix Garage preserves the job record

The workshop keeps the complete operational and customer-facing history.

Real workshop context

Shaped around practical workshop needs

Brito Racing provides a real operational environment for understanding bookings, customer communication, vehicle intake, work orders, diagnostic handoff, private workshop deployment, and the distinction between normal workshop work and the Jonix Performance specialist division.
